The Warning Ignite a Fire in Our Hearts With "Automatic Sun"

The Warning, a Mexican-born trio of sisters hailing from Monterrey, are launching their fourth studio album, Keep Me Fed, with a slew of energetic rock anthems. The three Villareal sisters are on the warpath, attempting to take over the airwaves with their blend of heavy, up-tempo rock and pure charm.

If their hit single “S!CK” was an addicting introduction for those who were unfamiliar, “Automatic Sun” is about flexing their talent and style. The harmonic complexity screams through their guitar riffs, and their pitch-perfect vocals weave together to give the grunge anthem a hell of a punch. Don’t think that because it is an angsty alternative rock song, it is not ultra-catchy; The Warning craft their hooks with Paramore-like precision.

True to classic rock form, “Automatic Sun” is inherently anti-establishment—a proverbial ‘I won’t take it anymore.’ The track journeys through recognizing the signs of an unhealthy relationship. The angst in the lyrics represents feeling taken for granted, seeing one's love and support offered and not returned. Instead of being symbiotic or reciprocal, it has become toxic and draining. This track is in your face, anything but subtle, laying out the truth of a personal reckoning as a warning to others in the same situation.

The Warning is continuously building their prestige with worldwide tours and hit songs—even becoming the face of Pepsi Black in its new campaign in Mexico. Their talent is no longer going unnoticed, and they are blowing up in a big way. Now that you have been caught up to speed, you can enjoy their latest music and join the rest of us in anticipating the release of Keep Me Fed.
